Let's Play Inside is a small, Vancouver-based guide to drop-in activities for families. We keep this simple: we don't ask you to create an account, we don't sell anything about you, and we only measure how the site is used so we can make it more useful.
What we collect
When you browse the site we record anonymous usage information: the pages you visit, the date and time, whether you're on a phone, tablet or computer, the website or search that sent you here, and a randomly generated ID stored on your device so repeat visits aren't counted twice. That ID isn't linked to your name, email or address.
We don't collect names, phone numbers or payment details. If you email us, we of course see whatever you choose to write to us.
What we use it for
Only to understand which activities, neighbourhoods and guides parents find helpful, and to spot pages that are broken or hard to use. The numbers we look at are totals and trends, not individual people.
Tools we use
We use Google Analytics to see aggregate visit counts, and our own records for the same purpose. Google may set cookies on your device as part of this. We don't run advertising pixels, remarketing or cross-site tracking, and we don't build advertising profiles.
What we never do
We never sell, rent or trade information about visitors, and we never share it with advertisers or data brokers.
Activity listings
Activity details on this site come from publicly published schedules by community centres, neighbourhood houses and family places. Times, ages and fees can change, so please confirm with the organiser before heading out.
Your choices
You can block or clear cookies in your browser settings at any time, or turn on your browser's "do not track" setting. The site keeps working normally either way.
Children
This site is written for parents and caregivers. We don't knowingly collect information from children.
